After 15 successful editions of the AFAS Tennis Classics in Eindhoven and Apeldoorn it was time for a new adventure. In November 2017, the first edition of the Curaçao Tennis Legends was a fact, while in 2018 and 2019 the island enjoyed the tennis event once again.

The Curaçao Tennis Legends is a three-day tennis tournament with former tennis stars like Paul Haarhuis, Jan Siemerink, Jacco Eltingh and Sjeng Schalken, the French audience favorite Henri Leconte, the
Chilean Fernando Gonzalez, the Ecuadorian Nicolás Lapentti and the South African Wayne Ferreira.

But the event is more than tennis. The combination of top sport with music and entertainment are a proven formula of the successful event, that also aims to promote tennis on the island by organizing masterclasses and clinics for children from Curaçao.
