In the beginning of 2015 we got in contact with the sport archery. In collaboration with the Dutch Archery Federation (NHB), the city ‘s-Hertogenbosch and the Province of Noord-Brabant we decided to enter at bid for the World Championships in 2019. It was a successful bidding and in the end of 2015 it led to the awarding of the World Championships to ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

The World Archery Championships took place in June 2019 and where organized as integrated championships; meaning that the regular as well as the para championships was held during the same event. By integrating the two World Championships more attention was generated for the para athletes on one hand, on the other it created more opportunities to combine the event with different side events. 

Team TOC was responsible for organizing this Archery World Championships from the bidding till making agreements with hotels and organizing side-events. We organized this event at our own expense and risk. In collaboration with the NHB, the city ‘s-Hertogenbosch and the Province of Noord-Brabant this event was a great success!
