From 18 to 25 September 2022, the World Cycling Championships were organised in Wollongong, Australia, with Shimano affiliated as an event partner. To generate additional connection to this large-scale World Cup from the Netherlands, a viewing event was organised in Valkenburg.

During this weekend, the winners were welcomed to the Shimano Experience Centre for a weekend full of cycling. With tips and tricks from professionals, a course in and around Valkenburg and a helping hand from the Shimano Tech Reps when needed. Early the next morning, breakfast was served and they watched the World Cup final together, with live commentary from cycling pros.
