Overview 2022
The year 2022 is almost upon us, and what a great time to look back on a sporting and successful year! After two long years full of coronagraphs, this year was back; there were large-scale sporting events again! Here is an overview of our events from 2022.
European Company Sport Games
In june Team TOC was given the change, commissioned by NLOM Foundation, to organize the European Company Sport Games in the Province of Gelderland. Here more than 3,200 participants from 30 different countries took part! The goal of this event was to get as many employees from Europe to participate in sports and exercise as possible, in order to make the topics of sport, exercise and vitality relevant in the workplace, especially in a period after the corona measures, when this was difficult. The event featured 21(!) different sports, spread across different locations.
CEP EK Petanque
From July 13th until July 17th, ‘s-Hertogenbosch revolved around the European Championships Petanque. After a successful WC (Para) Archery in 2019, the Parade was once again the center of an international tournament.
At the famous square were 26 covered Petanque courts, where the best 109 petanque players battled for the coveted European titles. Aside from the matches for the more than 25,000 visitors, there were options to enjoy these matches accompanied by a drink or a snack.
Veldhoven 2022 World Boccia Challenger
From August 1st until August 6th, 90 athletes from 24 countries battled for the medals within 4 categories of Boccia at the Veldhoven World Boccia Challenger. This was not all, because there were also qualification points available for the Paralympics 2024 in Paris.
Our thank goes out to the Department of Public Health, Welfare, and Sport, Gehandicaptensport, World Boccia, Gemeente Veldhoven, and NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof for making this amazing event possible. We hope to see all participants in Rotterdam during the European Para Championships 2023!
ITF Wheelchair Tennis Masters
Organizing a sporting event is always special, but this time we were allowed to organize one in our hometown of Oss! From October 30th until November 6th, the best wheelchair tennis players were allowed to battle for the coveted Master Titles! In a pimped Sportcenter de Rusheuvel, the players played and trained at 5 hardcourt courts. On the Center Court, more than 500 visitors could watch from the stands. During the event, more than 2000 visitors made their way to Oss.
Shimano
We also had the privilege to work with Shimano again, in order to reach, expand, and activate their fanbase this year. We are looking forward to another successful collaboration next year!
